Xenonauts VS Xcom
Hmmmm... Hard to say. I don't know. I'd like to see more commentary and longplays of it though. Especially Ironman insane mode.

Taking vacation this August!
Hey everyone! Its beautiful outside, its nice out, its hot and humid I'll be taking a vacation from all this while I enjoy summer while it lasts! Oh yeah!

Breach 2 bug discovered. CHAIN CAMPAIGNS MAY NOT BE POSSIBLE
HOLY CHAIN REACTIONS BATMAN!! It looks like Breach 2 does not like chaining missions the way you can with Paladin 1. Oh dear.
I was on my fourth of 15th maps when it happened. This is as infuriating as not having Breach 3 work on ROE2 Missions!! DANG!!
I guess I'll work more on Breach 3. I like it better and for those who don't I have ways to help by showing help videos and the like!

You need something to run STX file games on ATARI ST
Its called PASTI. Its file a you download HERE http://pasti.fxatari.com/
Also, I should point out that these are pure atari st games, uncracked unformated and unchanged. NO CHEAT CODES OR SPECIAL STUFF ADDED! YES THEY INCLUDE COPY PROTECTION AS WELL!

New Rules of Engagement 1 missions with IGS lock and Rules of engagement 2 updates!
Okay, first, check out these missions for ROE1! I included the map comm post which is updated version of the breach 2 map comm post! For some reason you only had one marine and you needed to hold 2 occupy squares. HUH?! Well I fixed it and included it as part of an ROE1 mission! Included also is the file updates for ROE1! Put it in your directory for Rules of Engagement. Enjoy!

ROE2 updates iunclude 3 new races and a fix on a bug I discovered involving alien factions! Apparently the fish head I used for some races triggers a bug that fudges data up. It would still work but not as well.
I made a race called the blue fish heads. That what caused it. I deleted it. I added 3 races based on characters on BREACH 3. Mudmen and Brains
The mudmen are supposed to be shapeshifters. I added two mudmen races. Chameleons and Proteus. In breach 3 they are mud men.
The brains are floating brains that are deadly. In Rules of Engagement 2 they are called Brainiacs.
I might add one more but I'm not sure.

Rules of Engagement 1 limitations of command
To command a heavy cruiser you must have the rank of 1st lieutenant, to command a dreadnaught you must be a commander.
JUST THOUGHT WE'D BRING THAT UP.
You can still make a mission where you can command say a destroyer or light cruiser and then have a couple of dreadnoughts in your fleet! MAKES EVERYTHING FINE!

info on various factions and races and TEXT error in alien factions
Here's some more below. By the way, the text in the alien factions section of Rules of engagement 2 it can't be fixed. There's a bug where new races can have info cascaded onto others. So if you want the 411 on races, check here on the blog.
Chaos Aliens Chaos Marines Chaos Aliens Chaos Droids and others
Little was it known that the realm of Hyperspace is also the realm of Chaos. Here, chaos demons lurk to capture weak star ships and move into our space. Sometimes they might lurk outside Hyperspace and attack and pillage.
Chaos Marines are captured human marines lured into the dark side of Chaos. It is possible to bring them back sometimes but the lure of Chaos is strong.
Chaos Aliens are also aliens who have had the same problem. But they are not quite as adapted to chaos as marines are for some reason.
Chaos droids are Droids that serve the forces of chaos.
Captains should use caution fighting these aliens especially when boarding. They are not as good starship captains as they are fighting hand-to-hand.

This race of barely sentient explorers is currently at war with the UDP, Xenos Agnos and Trizan Alphas and Betas. They are alligned with the Hz'Riz and are tributaries to the Go'chan. They don't fight well but will fight to the death if provoked. Sometimes contact with them is possible. Other times not so.
UDP (united Democratic Planets)
United Democratic Planets are a human faction and a splinter group from the FWP. They rebelled long ago and became an independent Democratic society. However the UDP has been becoming more of a fascist state. Many officers have defected to the UDP.
It is also known that they employ aliens such as the Xenos Argos on their ships.

Entymions
First contact between the FWAF and the Entymions occurred on 17November 2346 when a Group of Enymion vessels was detected by the Demons Lair outpost.
Reports in the UDP indicate they are allied and fight to the death even when outnumbered.
mutai laicr'mok races of mutants
Feenzrocks
20 years ago, Feenzrocks were first encountered near the edge of the local group. They appeared at first to be indifferent to our presence but as of late they have been spotted far inside our boundaries. Several of the fringe colonies have reported "Run ins" with Feenzrock Spacecraft.
Little is known of these creatures.
The Go'chan
After our disastrous first contact with the Go'chan empire, the FWP, the UDP along with other nearby empires have been attacked and harrassed without provocation. Contact with the Go'chan has often been brief and deadly. Aggression and hostility are a part of Go'chan life and they are bred to war and worship fierce God of war along with other warlike Gods involving slavery, bloodshed and crochet knitting.
They are also hostile to Opi-eds, Trizans, UDP, argops and Others. The reason the Trizans have not been at full scale war with us is because they are threatened more by the Gochan.
Cybers
Although contact has been limited to a few encounters and no bodies have been recovered for study, it is assumed that these creatures are humans who have "augmented" Themselves with Biomechanical implants and replacement parts. It is not known where they are from But it is rumored that they were part of a splinter colony from the local group.
Basree
The Basree are followers of a cult of Genetically modified Humans who suffer from "Nolan's Syndrome." Whatever that is. They deal in narcotics and are drug smugglers and dealers. They are fanatical as well as dangerous. Their fighting is weak however.
Antillies
First Encountered by an independent Outpost in the RCJ2336b system. The Antillies have Reportedly been a Nomadic Spacefaring culture for many centuries. Their Society Structure is highly regimented, and controlled by a governing "queen." As a race they are loyal to their queen and their kind. As such, surrender is unlikely. They will fight to the death with no compassion for their opponent. One weakness that may be exploited, their seemingly random disorganized style of attack.
Alpha Betas
Ampomorphu
The Ampomos are from a hostile world. They are isolationist and consider all non-fungoid life to be inferior. Sometimes they are open to trade with both FWP and UDP but not always. They are alligned with the Go'chan.
Alien Race: Anteater
First Encountered on an abandoned UDP Cargo ship at the outskirts of The Nilock system, the Anteaters were not initially thought to be an intelligent race. Over the last decade, they have proven to be a growing threat to the Federated Worlds. Rumor has it that the UDP may have used Genetic Engineering Technology to manipulate these creatures for some unknown purpose.
Limited encounters shown the Anteaters to be somewhat limited in their strategic and tactical knowledge. While Very Aggressive. They do not handle prolonged battles well. Mass defections and surrenders are not uncommon.

The Go'Chan: The new arch enemy of the federation
This highly aggressive violent silicon based quadro-ped is a cross between a T-Rex, a Centaur, a Mountain Gorilla, a Rhino and has cybernetic upgrades.
The Go'chan are the federation's newest number one enemy. Even worse than The Tr' zan alphas and the Cybers and even worse than the Martians and UDP. The UDP was the number one enemy in the first rules of Engagement, then there was the Trizans, now its the Go'Chan!
I should like to point out I did initially include the Posleen from John Ringo's Gust Front but I changed my mind. The Go'chan are violent enough for the universe thank you very Much!

Apparently after experimenting I seem to be unable to intergrate Breach 3 with Rules 2 the way I can with Breach 2.

CONFIRMED: Blue aardvark from Pink Panther is a character on the original omnitrend Rules of Engagement!
When I started playing this game as a kid, I noticed there was a character named the anteater. I didn't realize that it was really based on an actual character from the Pink Panther cartoons. He was voiced by the great Jackie Mason of whom I am distantly related!!
So in tribute to my relative The great Rabbi (I only met him once when I was little I don't remember much.) Mason I have made his character my Official Aardvark of aproval so to speak. I also added the Green aardvark.
Speaking of which I found out that the characters Opus and Bill the cat were introduced as aliens in Rules of Engagement 2. THEY TOO ARE INCLUDED. For some reason, the Go'chan are allied with Bill the cat. Not surprising since Bill was a communist and a spy.
So Expect some campaigns featuring Ol Blue from pink panther and friends voiced by my relative Jackie Mason Chummy!

Speaking of which I found out that the characters Opus and Bill the cat were introduced as aliens in Rules of Engagement 2. THEY TOO ARE INCLUDED. For some reason, the Go'chan are allied with Bill the cat. Not surprising since Bill was a communist and a spy.
So Expect some campaigns featuring Ol Blue from pink panther and friends voiced by my relative Jackie Mason Chummy!

FIXED!! Almost. File updates for Rules of engagement2!
All the old files from Rules of engagement 2, THEY ARE CORRUPT! PHOOEY!! So heres the new one!!
Click here and download the folder into the data folder for Rules of Engagement 2.
The text of the races BTW has been jumbled and I was forced to delete the entry for Chaos aliens Marines and Reptoids!
I did re admit Xenos Argos UDP and the rest though!!! DISREGARD ALL PREVIOUS FILES!! I SHOULD DELETE THEM BUT NOT NOW.

How to update Rules of Engagement 2 with new universe files!
Okay, this is for those who want Rules of Engagement 2 to be updated. Download the stuff here and then copy and overwrite it on the data files. IN FOLDER DATA I BELIEVE These are files for ships, aliens ETC.

HELLO! Welcome future space captains and Marines! This is the official fan blog and download site for The classic video games Rules of Engagement, Breach and Paladin!!!
NO! Not that dating game on the internet no! Rules of Engagement the Sci-fi simulation and strategy game that lets you become captain of a starship and create your own video game simulation or campaign anywhere! Your imagination is your only limit!
And in addition we have its sister and the game that can interlock with missions and campaigns on ROE, Breach! Yes! Breach 2 and Breach 3! The tactical marine strategy simulation that lets you command a marine platoon on enemy ships and planets! You can even write your own missions just like Rules of Engagement one and two!
Most of my games are based on Rules of Engagement 2 and Breach 2 and Three! Now and again I might post some stuff about Breach one for IBM or Amiga or The first Rules of Engagement. Personally, I prefer the second one and the Third Breach game! Awesome campaigns and Missions!! Single missions and branching campaigns!
You can also create your own captains, squads, Non Player Characters, Aliens, planets, solar systems, ships and so on! Imagination is your only limit!!!
We hope to be able to let you upload the campaigns of your own on a separate website! In the meantime! In the meantime enjoy what we have put out!!
